Svadhisthana is a six-petaled lotus. The varnas on the petals are "bam", "bham", "mam", "yam", "ram", and "lam". The two inner circles also have petals, the larger one has eight outward facing petals, and the smaller one has eight inward facing petals. The region of Varuna, Lord of water or "vam", is depicted in the shape of a half-moon filled with water.
